Privacy Policy

As a web-based community of practice, the International Network to Promote the Rule of Law (INPROL) values the participation of our members. As web servers are capable of storing users information, this Privacy Policy provides detailed information on our site’s data collection and use of cookies (small files that are stored on a user's hard drive).

Personal Information

Members of INPROL are asked to provide personal information when creating their accounts. INPROL stores this information. To further the mission of INPROL, membership contact information and professional experience are available for other members to access.

User Communication

To further the mission of INPROL, services allow members to submit queries and documents, post comments on our different forums, and email INPROL with questions, comments, and suggestions. Information that submitted through the website is stored and posted for other members to view. INPROL retains communications in order to process your inquiries, respond to your requests and improve our services. Finally, periodically INPROL will seek to improve our services through voluntary online surveys. Responses to online surveys are stored anonymously.

Information Collected and Stored Automatically

INPROL may automatically collect and store the date and time you access our site; how long you remained on our site; the domain from which you access the Internet; and the referring sites from which you linked to us. This information is used to measure the number of visitors to different sections of our site, find out what information is the most viewed, and to help us make our website more useful to members.

Cookies
When you visit INPROL, we send persistent cookies -- small files that are stored on a user's hard drive -- to store login and session information for this site.

Links to Other Web sites

Documents posted on the INPROL website may contain hypertext links or pointers to information created and maintained by other public and private organizations. These links and pointers are provided for members' convenience. A user is subject to that site's privacy policy upon leaving the INPROL web site.
