New Additions to the UN Audiovisual Library of International Law

August 11, 2017 - 9:05am

The Codification Division of the United Nations Office of Legal Affairs recently added new lectures to its online collection. The first is delivered by Mr. Alain Pellet and covers the role of sovereignty in international law. Visitors to the website will find related resources in Arabic, Chinese, English, and French. The second lecture from Ms. Anne Lagerwall covers the principle of ex injuria jus non oritur in international law. Related materials are available in English and French. The Audiovisual Library seeks to provide international law training and research opportunities to the widest possible audience around the world and thereby contribute to a common language of international law and a universal culture that is conducive to the rule of law.
