Facilitating Organizations
To provide access to the widest array of authoritative expertise relating to the advancement of rule of law, INPROL has established relationships with facilitating organizations. INPROL is a project of United States Institute of Peace. Current facilitating organizations include the Center of Excellence for Stability Police Units, Pearson Peacekeeping Centre, the Swedish Police Peace Support Operations and the Public International Law & Policy Group.
An organization may become an INPROL Facilitating Organization if it meets the following criteria, is invited by INPROL, and accepts the following roles and responsibilities:

Selection Criteria
- In-house capacity to respond to queries emanating from the field or to update and maintain a topic area relevant to the INPROL knowledge base;
- Well-recognized technical expertise and reputation in rule of law related field(s);
- Strong links with institutions working on rule of law related issues at global, regional, and/or national levels.
Roles & Responsibilities
INPROL Facilitating Organizations designate an in-house focal point for matters relating to INPROL and undertake the following roles:- Provide quality control and advice for the preparation of consolidated responses to INPROL member queries in their respective topic area(s), and
- Provide INPROL members access to documents and other materials maintained by the organization that comprise a base of knowledge in their area of expertise.
- Host and/or participate in INPROL conferences and meetings;
- Jointly present proposals for new project funding;
- Promote the use of INPROL among key constituencies and practitioners in the field; and
- Provide high quality technical and professional support to the INPROL project.
