About INPROL Information Resources
INPROL seeks to make available the best and most updated information on international rule of law issues. INPROL’s digital library contains primary documents relating to the rule of law, including laws, assessments, operating plans, handbooks, training materials, and annotated links to other available resources. Searches of the digital library are supported through an extensive taxonomy ensuring targeted and efficient search results.
INPROL resources have been classified into the following content types:

- Article or Report: Articles, reports, books, background documents, speeches, papers, and assessments produced or commissioned by experts or donors.
- Best Practice: Best practices, case studies, doctrine, and lessons-learned documents.
- Legal Document: Laws, draft laws, treaties, regulations, mandates, UN resolutions, and legal agreements.
- Mission Document: Documents produced by a specific mission (e.g. UN, OSCE, AU) related to policy, implementation, and the administration of a mission, as well as official host-nation policies (such as action plans and other strategic planning guidelines). Examples include the strategic planning document for a UN Mission, an OSCE plan in Kosovo, or an assessment by the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights.
- Tools: Checklists, handbooks, training manuals/curricula, model codes, and maps.
- Web Resource: Web resources located elsewhere on the internet.
